Cacti Installation / Migration

These instructions have been tested on RHEL 5 systems.
Steps 1 – 3 apply to new installation as well as migration.
NOTE: mysql and httpd are pre-requisite for cacti. These are not covered here.
Step 1: Download Cacti
*Step 2*: InstallationStep 3: Configuration and Start
Step 5: Migration from OLD Cacti server
Disable cron for cacti on new server
Move cacti data from old server to new server
Verify Cacti is running by making sure graphs are being updated.
